There is no parent or teacher who does not see the chaos in the education system that has been going on since the start of the vaccination campaign.
Only after the storm did the Ministry of Education begin to receive data on vaccinated teaching staff from the Ministry of Education - but these include only official teaching staff and on the other hand do not include school staff (secretariat, head of household, etc.) and assistants in kindergartens and schools.
There are about 20,000 kindergartens in the education system, some of which have a second assistant - that is, about 30,000 assistants and thousands more assistants in the classrooms in the schools.
This week, the Ministry of Education published data for the first time on teachers who were vaccinated or recovered, but the data only apply to Ministry of Education employees - that is, the assistants, secretaries and fathers who enter every morning through the same gate, but the Ministry of Education has no idea what happens at home.
And not just him.
While some authorities have raised their heads and are gathering information on the extent of the immunization of assistants, there are those who are refraining from engaging in the subject.
For example, in the Haifa municipality it is not known what the rate of vaccinated assistants in the city is.
On the other hand, the Petah Tikva municipality notes that 75% of the city's assistants have been vaccinated.
One of the issues that has accompanied the education system in the past year is the transition of teaching and education workers between the various cities, some green and yellow and some orange and red.
At the center were the assistants in kindergartens and schools, who often came from low-socio-economic localities whose color was red to affluent localities with a high socio-economic rating whose color was green.
Now the issue is relevant again, but with the rate of the vaccinated - assistants living in localities where the rate of vaccinated is low come to work in localities where the rate of vaccinated is high, but the young students are not vaccinated.
For example, the municipality of Rosh HaAyin - where the rate of vaccinators in the first dose is about 53%, employs assistants living in Elad, where the rate of vaccinators in the first dose is only 20%.
In Tel Aviv, where the rate of vaccinators in the second dose is 45%, they employ assistants living in Tira, where the rate of vaccinators in the second dose is 21%.
Orna (pseudonym), a special education assistant from the south of the country, is not interested in getting vaccinated: "To me, this is an experiment, we still do not know what the consequences of it are. At school they tried to put pressure on me, but it did not help."
On the other hand, the assistants claim that many parents do not get vaccinated and send sick children to the educational institution, and they become infected and go into many isolations.
