The Iraqi Air Force eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed their hideouts during operations it carried out in the governorates of Salah al-Din and Kirkuk.
The Security Media Cell stated in a statement carried by Alsumaria News that Iraqi army aircraft launched a series of air strikes today in the area between north Salah al-Din and southwestern Kirkuk, killing a number of terrorists and destroying a group of their dens.
In turn, the Joint Operations Command announced that the large-scale military operation launched by the Iraqi forces in the Kirkuk governorate this morning resulted in the dismantling of 70 explosive devices, the destruction of tunnels for the terrorist organization ISIS, and the discovery of explosive materials and various weapons, indicating that the operation is still continuing.
Iraqi forces continue to pursue ISIS remnants in various regions of Iraq.
