Test, isolation: the procedure to follow in the event of a suspicion of Covid-19
London continues its vaccination campaign with a forced march.
While 21 million Britons have already received a first dose, Boris Johnson - who boasts
"a huge national success"
- intends to give himself the means to accelerate further.
Along with a handful of other countries, the UK announced on Thursday that it will fast-track new generations of vaccines capable of neutralizing coronavirus mutations.
"Vaccines modified to respond to new variants will not require new approval or long clinical studies,"
said British agency MHRA, associated in the Access consortium with regulators in four other countries - Australia, Canada, Singapore and Switzerland.
Manufacturers will just have to present
"strong evidence"
for the immune response.
