The Turkish regime's Ministry of Defense announced that nine soldiers were killed and four others were wounded, after a military helicopter crashed in eastern Turkey today.

The Associated Press quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that a cougar helicopter belonging to the ground forces was on its way to Tavan district in Badlis province in the east of the country from the neighboring Bingol province when it disappeared from the radar screens and crashed in the Tavan region, killing nine soldiers who were on On board and wounding four others.

Searches for the plane and the military began after losing contact with it, and the cause of the crash has not yet been clear.
