Partial Success: A SpaceX spacecraft exploded after landing successfully
The rocket, a prototype of the "Starship" spacecraft designed to launch humans to the moon and Mars, ignited just minutes after landing.
This is the first time a company rocket has managed to land, after two previous failed attempts.
The experiment was broadcast live, but was interrupted before the explosion

A SpaceX rocket prototype exploded last night (Thursday) in Boca Chica, Texas, minutes after successfully landing on the runway.
The experiment was broadcast live on the network, but was interrupted before the rocket began to catch fire.
It is not yet clear what led to the explosion and flare-up of the rocket about three minutes after it landed.
The rocket, known as the SN10, is a prototype of the company's "Straship" spacecraft, designed to launch satellites and humans into orbit around the Earth, and later even make manned landings on the moon and Mars.
This is the first time that a Straship rocket has managed to land successfully, after two previous attempts that have failed recently.
The owner of SpaceX, billionaire Elon Musk, was happy with the rocket landing before it exploded, and wrote on his Twitter account that "Straship SN10 landed in one piece."

Last month another prototype crashed while trying to land in Boca Chica.
The spacecraft took off at an altitude of about ten kilometers and turned to land again, but exploded due to too high a speed when landing to the ground.
Another prototype crashed last December, in a similar live broadcast attempt.
The rocket destroyed in the accident was a 16-story model developed by the company and capable of carrying one hundred tons of cargo.
Musk said in a tweet immediately after the landing malfunction that "the pressure in the fuel gas tank was low" during the descent, causing a high speed when hitting the ground.
He added that SpaceX had received "all the information we needed" from the experiment and declared that the take-off phase in the experiment had passed successfully.
"Mars, we're coming," he tweeted on his Twitter account.
