Four people were arrested in relation to the murder of Julio Galindo Pérez, leader of the Employers' Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex) in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, the head of the Attorney General's Office confirmed in a press conference. State (FGE), Federico Arturo Garza Herrera.
According to the FGE, Galindo Pérez lost his life last Monday due to injuries with a firearm.
The businessman's murder occurred last Monday and the arrest was achieved when the authorities detected, in the town of Ciudad Valles, a car with characteristics similar to those of the vehicle involved in the murder.

The prosecutor said they were able to connect the people since, at the time of their arrest, they were carrying weapons whose ballistics tests determined that there were coincidences with those implicated in the death of Galindo Pérez.
Regarding the motive for the fact, the Prosecutor's Office said that it is still in an early stage of the investigations and did not provide further details so as "not to hinder either the investigation or the due process."
