DECRYPTION - Accused of having diluted local identities with no savings, the redistribution decided under Hollande remains an issue of tension in view of the regional election.

Six years after the much contested redistribution of regions, the new map of France remains the target of political figures of various stripes, campaigning for the regional elections scheduled for June.
