A piece of land in Sha Tau Kok was recently discovered to be hung up with the signboard of the "Patriotism Education Base", which attracted public attention and questioned the purpose of the site.

"Hong Kong 01" discovered a registered limited company with the same name. One of the directors, Zhong Huaxin, had attended the event of "Broken Yaju" Yin Guoju; another director emphasized "inconvenience to respond" to reporters, and refused to confirm whether the company had a relationship with Shah. The site is a wasteland only listed

At the junction of Sha Tau Kok Road and Luk Keng Road, a "patriotism education base" was discovered recently.

The reporter visited the site and found that the area where the metal signboard of the "Patriotism Education Base" was hung up was small. It was simply surrounded by barbed wire and the gate was locked.

Only one stool was placed inside the barbed wire, there was no building in the field, and the ground was uneven.

Mr. Jiang, who rented a warehouse next to the "base", said that when he moved here earlier this month, he had seen the land put up the sign of the "patriotism education base", but had not seen anyone come in or out.

He described the land as just a "bad piece of land", thinking that "it may just be put up on a card" and there will be no follow-up activities: "Even if there are (events), there will be no site selection."

Mr. Jiang, who rented a warehouse next to the "base", said that when he moved here earlier this month, he saw that the land was marked with a "patriotism education base" sign, and he believed that there would be no follow-up activities there.

According to the information, the land where the "base" is located is held by "Changfeng Trading Co., Ltd.". The two directors of the company are Liao Weiqiang and Liao Taiquan. Liao Taiquan is the fourth vice chairman of the "World Liao Clan Association".

According to the company registry, there is a company with the same name in Hong Kong, "Hong Kong Patriotism Education Base Co., Ltd.". The company has five directors. One of the directors, Zhong Huaxin, attended the "Bang Yaju" Yin Guoju's World Hongmen and Virtual Currency " Hongbi” activities.

It is understood that he had traveled to the Mainland before the Lunar New Year and has not yet returned to Hong Kong.

The reporter recently tried to check with Zhong Huaxin at his address, but was unable to contact him.

The reporter successfully contacted Yan Shiyu, another director who runs the Yinghua Bookstore.

Yan Shiyu said three times that there was "no response" and "inconvenient response", and refused to confirm whether the Sha Tau Kok "base" was related to the company or whether it planned to hold any activities.

Inland patriotism education bases are historical locations and not wastelands

There are currently 473 national "patriotism education demonstration bases" in the Mainland, such as Tiananmen Square in Beijing, the Palace Museum, and the former residence of Sun Yat-sen in Guangdong Province, all of which have been approved by the party committee or the government, and the Central Propaganda Department announced the list.

Even at the provincial, municipal, and county levels, most of them are places related to historical events, rather than newly built "bases" in wasteland.

Whether the Hong Kong base is recognized or just imitating the prestigious "base" in the Mainland is not known for the time being.
