13 migrants who died in a car accident in Imperial County, California, were part of a group of 44 undocumented people who, according to official information, entered the United States early Tuesday morning through a gap in the border wall between Mexico and the United States. The group was traveling in two vehicles and one of these hit a tow truck, killing 13 immigrants, including Mexicans and Guatemalans. Authorities confirmed that the piece of border fence impacted would have been built between 2008 and 2009, so it is not part of the section built by the Donald Trump administration.
