In direct contact with patients

This incredible story, told by

, begins at the start of the 2020 academic year. A 20-year-old young man, employed by the AP-HP (Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris, editor's note) as a stretcher bearer at the CHU de Saclay (Essonne), would have started to pretend to be a student of the medical school of Paris Descartes (Paris V).

With a fake student card, he allegedly duped the university administration by claiming to have validated his first two years of medicine.

He would thus have attended courses remotely and established friendly relations within his university, without however participating in the examinations organized in early January 2021, claiming to have caught the Covid.

More seriously, the forger - taking advantage of his fictitious status as a medical student - would have integrated several hospitals.

France Info

evokes an internship at Saint-Anne hospital, specializing in psychiatry but which does not depend on the AP-HP, during which he would have entered into direct contact with patients by posing as a doctor, providing them with false information.

He would also have provided guards and entered the operating room of Cochin hospital on several occasions to attend operations.

The bogus student would even have prescribed neuroleptics to patients via software whose codes he would have stolen from practitioners.

The pot aux roses, finally discovered in mid-February by the services of the AP-HP and the administration of the University of Paris, led to the opening of the investigation currently underway.
