The five minors, two 16 and 17 years old and three "
under 16
", were indicted for "
willful violence in a meeting in front of a place of transport
" and placed under judicial control, said the prosecutor's office in Saverne.
The two adults, aged 19 and 21, were also placed under judicial supervision and will appear in May for the same facts during a correctional hearing, confirming information from the regional daily
Les Latest Nouvelles d'Alsace
(DNA).
Adults risk five years in prison, minors two and a half years.
The scene took place Monday afternoon in front of the station of Schirmeck, a town of 2,000 inhabitants, about fifty kilometers west of Strasbourg.
According to the prosecution, the victim and a "
former friend
", aged 14, had made an appointment in front of the station after having had in the morning an exchange via Snapchat which had deteriorated for a reason "
futile
".
But when the 13-year-old girl arrived there, "
thirty to forty young people
" were already present.
The two teenagers then exchanged blows but, quickly, "
the two brothers
" of the older one came in turn to strike the younger one, also taken to task by two other young girls, "
friends of the implicated
", as well as two adults.
The victim was prescribed one day of ITT.
"
She received a multitude of blows from multiple people
" and "
could no longer describe the entire scene,
" said the prosecution.
"
The scene was filmed by many young people
", which allowed "
to incriminate each of the seven people who have been prosecuted
."
According to
DNA
, the gendarmes of Schirmeck had access to about fifty videos.
