The URA announced today (5th) the launch of the To Kwa Wan Road/Wing Kwong Street development plan. The 53 street numbers of old buildings involving 830 households will be recovered to build about 900 residential units. The project is expected to be completed in 2032.

The chairman of the Owners’ Corporation of a building within the scope of the project agreed to the acquisition, saying that the building’s “concrete” and water leakage were serious, but he believed that it was impossible to buy a unit of the same size in the same district at the purchase price of the URA. There are small units with elevators nearby.

This redevelopment also involves 90 shops.

Some takeaway shop owners pointed out that they would not leave their customers until the last moment when the URA took over the building.
