One of the favorite topics of our readers is language.
We can see that again today in the many letters to the editor.
There are even so many that they easily push the ongoing Corona issue aside.
But no, we are still a long way from gendering in this newspaper, even if our reader Anne Wolfsteiner (see the short letter to the editor at the top right) has discovered an “athlete” in the sports section.
But that was in a quotation - and we don't change quotations.
I also occasionally have an argument about gender with my 26-year-old daughter, who disagrees with her father.
