Here is a fragment of the episode's transcript.

Hello, Jose Levy greets you from Jerusalem in this new podcast of

Global Challenges

, where I summarize the weekly news of the world, of this «global village», yes, that influence us all and where the central event of this week is the one that It is described by many as the most dangerous visit of the pontificate of Pope Francis, specifically to a country devastated by wars: Iraq.

Although in the past he already traveled to a country at war, the Central African Republic, in this case how much courage Francis shows by not postponing the visit any longer and, despite the warnings, having decided to travel where he feels they need him a lot.

Although even Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI recognized that the visit is "dangerous", Francis assured that he could not disappoint the Christian community in Iraq again, who saw in 2000 how John Paul II had to cancel the trip he had planned by the opposition from the once all-powerful Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Personally, I was also able to feel the courage of that other beloved pope, when I was able to travel with him, with today's Saint John Paul II, through so many central biblical places in Christendom.

Sometimes even I share, yes, dangers with him.

I'll explain in future podcasts.
