Businesses that need to be closed due to the government's epidemic prevention regulations and instructions can also apply to the Housing Authority for a 100% rent waiver during the suspension period.
The Housing Authority stated that the six-month extension of the 75% rent concession is estimated to reduce the housing authority’s rent by about 657.3 million yuan.
Users who rent the parking spaces of the Housing Authority car park for commercial vehicles on a monthly basis are also included in the concession arrangement.

The non-residential rent reduction arrangement by 75% will last for 6 months and will end on September 30 this year.
A spokesman for the Housing Authority said that it will continue to use a flexible way to handle leases that expire before the end of the rent concession period as a transitional arrangement.
The spokesman continued that the arrangement is to tie in with the new round of relief measures in the Budget to help companies tide over their difficulties.
