The city council has decided on a special usage guideline for the further expansion of e-charging stations in Olching in order to promote the expansion of electromobility.
Olching - This takes into account public charging points that are set up, for example, by private investors in public spaces, and private charging stations that citizens offer on their own parking spaces.
As announced by the town hall, this will control distribution across the city and simplify the approval process.
The state is already creating financial incentives to promote the expansion of electromobility.
Since November 2020, there has been additional funding for private charging infrastructure.
It has therefore become more attractive for private individuals to set up e-charging stations.
According to the city, however, it is important to ensure that no power cables over sidewalks become tripping hazards.
A new section "Electromobility" has also been set up on the city's website and will be expanded in the future.
