- There was a serious accident in Langenbach: A racing cyclist (51) was driving on Oberbacher Straße from the building yard at around 4 p.m. on Thursday and wanted to turn right into the same street through the underpass of St 2350.
Unconscious despite a helmet
Due to too high a speed he came into the opposite lane, reports the PI.
A 26-year-old VW bus driver could no longer avoid it, the cyclist bumped his head against the windshield of the VW bus.
Despite his helmet, he was briefly passed out, but could be contacted again when the police arrived.
Due to the severe head injury, he was taken to the Ingolstadt emergency clinic.
Total damage: around 3000 euros.
