Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has renewed its request to the United Nations and the Security Council to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and implement UN resolutions, foremost of which is Resolution 2334 of 2016, which affirms the illegality of settlements and demands that they stop.
The Foreign Ministry condemned in a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, the ongoing Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinians, the most recent of which is forcing three Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem and announcing a plan to expand settlement operations in the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, seizing tens of dunams, and delivering warnings to demolish homes and agricultural facilities in The towns of Yatta, south of Hebron, and al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, in addition to tightening the screws on Palestinians in the northern valleys to displace them, and many other crimes that fall within the open war of occupation against the Palestinian presence.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry indicated that the aggressive practices of the occupation impose a tragic reality on the life of the Palestinian, his land, sanctities and property in a clear violation of human rights principles that amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, which calls for serious action by the international community to stop them.
