Two days after the indictment for "aggravated attempted murder" of Anes Saïd K., main suspect of the ultra-violent assault of photo-journalist Christian Lantenois in Reims, another young man was taken into police custody this Friday March 5.

In a short statement, the prosecutor of the Republic of Reims Matthieu Bourrette indicated that this second suspect had presented himself to the police station this Friday at the end of the afternoon.
“He was immediately taken into police custody for acts of '
participation in an armed gathering with a view to committing violence or degradation'
and '
non-assistance to anyone in danger',
”
the magistrate said.
Bad state
During his press conference on Wednesday, Matthieu Bourrette stressed that investigations were continuing to identify and question all those involved in the assault on Christian Lantenois.

The photo-journalist of
L'Union-L'Ardennais
is in serious condition after being violently beaten on Saturday, February 27 in the afternoon, while covering for his editorial staff a tense situation in the Croix-Rouge district.
"The presence of this journalist bothered the group of individuals who were gathering and preparing for the sole purpose of committing violence, undoubtedly against another group"
, explained the Reims prosecutor during his conference Press.
