A man suspected of being the second attacker of two police officers seriously injured by gunshot last October in Herblay (Val-d'Oise) while they were participating in a surveillance mission, was arrested on Friday March 5 in Clichy-la- Garenne (Haut-de-Seine), said a source close to the investigation.

One of the two suspects of this attack, which had aroused the indignation of the police unions and the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin, was arrested in early December at his home in Nanterre, and indicted for attempted murder on custodians of public authority.
