The sit-ins and protests renewed today in a number of Lebanese regions, denouncing the deteriorating living conditions and the high prices.

The Lebanese National News Agency stated that a number of protesters roamed the streets of Tripoli with foot marches, carried out protests, lit tires, and also blocked the Tripoli-Beirut highway at Palma Bridge with burning tires to denounce the high prices and the deterioration of living conditions.

In Sidon, a number of protesters gathered in the middle of the Elia Junction Square, setting tires on fire, and partially cutting off the traffic. Protesters in Akkar also cut off the road at the entrance to the town of Ammar al-Bikat on a highway in Halba al-Qobayat with burning tires to protest against poor living and economic conditions.

Since October 17, 2019, many Lebanese regions have witnessed demonstrations and sit-ins to protest against the deteriorating living and economic conditions and to demand the fight against corruption in the country.
