The city of Nuremberg decided that schools and daycare centers will remain open next week as well.
The city's current corona incidence allows this.
Nuremberg - In Bavaria, elementary schools and graduating classes with an incidence of less than 100 have been allowed to switch classes again since the end of February.
Every week the city of Nuremberg also decides anew which measures apply and which can be relaxed.
The corona incidence in Nuremberg has been below 100 for nine days.
The city decided to keep the schools open next week.
This means that half of the elementary and special school students as well as half of the students from the final classes can look forward to face-to-face classes for the entire next week.
The day-care centers and day-care centers will also remain open in restricted regular operations.
The city announced in a press release.
Schools and daycare centers will remain open next week - even if the incidence increases
For better planning, the weekly decision to open the facilities always applies for a whole week, said Mayor Marcus König.
“This gives parents and children, as well as schools and day-care centers, planning security for the next week.
That is very important to us ”, he is quoted in the press release.
Even if the incidence value should rise sharply in the next week and go back over 100, the students will continue to have alternate classes.
The disaster control management group considers the infection situation to be so stable in the short term that the facilities mentioned can remain in operation despite a slight increase in numbers.
