After these observations, the officers searched a restaurant in Neuaubing - and uncovered a drug trade.

During the search, the officers found four employees of the restaurant.

They found several bags of cocaine on the men.

The four suspects' homes were also searched.

Here the police discovered not only cocaine but also hashish.

They found cocaine in the middle three-digit gram range from one of the participants - everything neatly packed in small bags, ready for sale.

There were also two knives lying around in one apartment.

Police come across weapons and drugs: four Munich residents reported - cooks in custody

The suspects are a 19-year-old, a 24-year-old, a 29-year-old and a 44-year-old, all resident in Munich.

Two of the four men worked as chefs in the said restaurant, which was open to the currently licensed to-go business.

All four suspects were charged with various violations of the Narcotics Act, including trafficking in large quantities of drugs while carrying a weapon.

According to the current state of knowledge, the suspects acted together.

The four men were brought before the investigating judge of the Munich police headquarters.

He sent all four to custody.

Now the criminal police have taken over the investigation.
