We cannot repeat it enough: politicians are justiciable like any other.
They should therefore be treated like everyone else.
And this is why the way in which justice has been dealing with Nicolas Sarkozy for years has posed a problem: the incredible deployment of resources, questionable procedures and now an exceptionally severe sentence, none of this is normal.
