Attack on Tsuen Wan Post Office!
A man was arrested when he attacked a post office employee because he was suspected of damaging a personal data collection box placed outside the door.
At around 9 am today (5th), the police received a report from a staff member of the Tsuen Wan Post Office, stating that a 44-year-old staff member surnamed Li was arguing with a man over trivial matters. The man was emotional and suspected of assaulting the male staff member with his hands.
The police arrived at the scene and arrested the 58-year-old man surnamed Li on suspicion of ordinary assault. The case was handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of Tsuen Wan Police District for follow-up.
The male employee injured his hand and was sent to hospital.
It is understood that the man did not scan the QR code and did not fill in the information using "Travel with Peace". The staff later discovered that the personal data collection box outside the post office was damaged and asked the man. The man suddenly became excited and attacked the staff.
It is understood that the staff found that the collection box used to collect personal information of citizens outside the post office was destroyed, and asked the man to make a sudden attack.

A spokesperson for the Post Office said that at about 9 am this morning, a staff member of the Tsuen Wan Post Office found a collection box containing a "visit registration form" was suspected of being damaged. Limb collision.
