Summary.
From high school… to the Elysée.
On February 21, McFly and Carlito took up the challenge launched by Emmanuel Macron a few days earlier.
The YouTube comic duo must total at least 10 million views on a video calling on its young audience to respect barrier gestures.
Their music video, “Je me souviens”, reached the goal in less than 72 hours.
The reward is historic: David Coscas and Raphaël Carlier have won the right to shoot their next comedy video with the President of the Republic.
A prestigious name which is added to the long list of stars who have lent themselves to their games, such as David Guetta or Will Smith.
The two friends met in high school in Bois-Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine).
For more than ten years, they chained the projects in radio, TV and on the web without being successful.
At 34, they are now followed by more than six and a half million people.
Grégory Plouviez, journalist with the Cuture service of the Parisien, looks back on their journey in Code source.
