A 30-year-old man suspected of having shot and wounded two police officers on October 7 in Herblay (Val-d'Oise) was arrested this Friday morning in Clichy-la-Garenne (Hauts-de-Seine) by the investigators from the research and intervention brigade of the judicial police of Versailles.
It was around 11:25 am that this Guyanese was surprised in an apartment, located on the third floor of a building.
Investigators from the criminal brigade had deployed significant resources for several months to accommodate this criminal.

"We put around forty listening lines and put numerous markers in the entourage of this man who was identified a few hours after the fact", specifies a source close to the case.

The other two suspects already arrested
The other two men, suspected of having participated in this savage attack, have already been apprehended.
The 28-year-old, indicted, was taken prisoner two days after the facts, denying having taken part in the acts of violence.
The second, aged 30, known for drug use, theft, concealment and violence, was arrested on December 1 by the Raid at the Cité des Pâquerettes in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine).
Indicted for "attempted murder of persons holding public authority and unauthorized possession of a category B weapon in a meeting", he was placed in pre-trial detention.
That night, the two policemen were parked in an unmarked car as part of an investigation into a forcible confinement.
The three men taking them for Travelers had approached them.
