The third central theater festival of the Baath Vanguards Organization concluded its public performances on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center theater in Tartous, with the show titled “Fella and the Dwarves”.

The presentation made by the Damascus Branch Group of the Vanguards, prepared and directed by Saeed Ataya, said in a statement to SANA: “It is a work that confirms that true beauty lies within the human being when it carries the values ​​of goodness and love.” Presenting it to the true Syrian community with all its components through presentations that carried messages of intimacy, love and the values ​​of Syrians.

During the festival, which was held over a period of three days in the governorate of Tartous, performances were presented to 28 groups from different governorates, where the participants found an important experience in it, as mentioned by director Fuad Al-Masry from the Damascus Countryside Branch for the Vanguards who talked about his work “Juha and the Treasure” through which he sought to provide benefit In the event that the mind and money are united with strength in a comic framework that delivers pleasure and correct information in a simple and lovely way for children.

Director Muhannad Sawan from Damascus countryside also presented his work "Children's Court", proposing through it the negative effects that modern technology has had on the book, especially with the reluctance of many to read with an emphasis on its importance in our lives and showing its positive aspects.

Regarding the participation of the Raqqa branch, director Radhia Kousa explained that the play “The Green Market” discusses the dangers of infection with the Coronavirus through a dialogue between four characters and the reasons for the spread of this dangerous epidemic by presenting negative manifestations that spread in the vegetable markets with the call for prevention by following healthy habits in order to ensure the safety of individuals. And society.

In turn, director Muhammad Shalash from Raqqa presented his vision of a person who leaves his homeland and fails to return with some habits that are not appropriate for his society and his environment, through the text of "The Return of an Expatriate", indicating the importance of the homeland, excelling in it, building and starting from it to the world.

Director Sadiq Fayyad from Deir Ezzor branch indicated that his work “The Color Box” aims to enhance the spirit of cooperation between students in schools and share their items among themselves so that one of them does not take the things of his comrades in the event that he is unable to buy them while the other work is from the same governorate. Under the heritage item, it was titled "Moon and Light", presented by director Inas Svan in an interesting comic framework.

The young worshiper Al-Ahmad and the two children Mahmoud Ramadan and Farah Shalash considered that their love for these works motivated them to participate in them, considering that they convey social, health and cultural awareness ideas in a constructive way for adults and children together, stressing the importance of the festival to increase experience, learning and benefit from the ideas presented in these works and their application on the ground.

It is noteworthy that the closing ceremony will be held tomorrow, Saturday, with prizes being distributed to the winning teams and participants, with the artist honoring Wafaa Moussalli in appreciation of her artistic career and role in the Children's Theater.
