The threats were repeated since the relationship had ended.
The increasingly violent messages multiplied when the young woman learned that her ex was in a relationship with a boy.

. I'm going to kill you, I swear," Melanie Díaz (19) wrote to Ayelén, his ex-girlfriend, after discovering the relationship that the young woman had with Emiliano Benítez (22).
On Wednesday morning, he carried out his threats.
According to the researchers reconstructed, Díaz went to Ayelén's house, in Campana, and
found her with Emiliano
.
Investigators believe they learned that the young man was at the scene from a photo posted on social media.
Melanie Díaz (19) refused to testify and will continue to be detained.
After entering by force, the accused asked the young man what he was doing there and, almost immediately,
stabbed him in the chest
, at the level of the heart, with a knife that he had carried.
The victim ran out into the street and his girlfriend hid in the room where her five-year-old son slept.
The aggressor wanted to enter by force to attack her, but at that moment Ayelén's sister arrived at the scene, alerted by the screams.
Emiliano Benítez (22) died after receiving a stab in the chest.
Díaz escaped and after the crime he wrote to his ex-girlfriend again.
"Sorry, I don't know what I did. I was blind, I didn't want to come to this. But now, nothing else to do,"
she told him through a message.
Díaz was arrested hours later.
She was charged with "linked femicide", a crime that includes a life sentence.
This Thursday he refused to testify before the prosecutor Ana Laura Brizuela and will continue to be in prison.
