But a large one fell yesterday (Thursday) on Turkey, after a military helicopter crashed in the Beatles area and 11 were killed - including the senior officer, eighth corps commander Lieutenant General Osman Arbash.
The investigation into the disaster began immediately, and this morning Defense Minister Holusi Akar said that severe weather in the border area with Iran and Iraq may have led to the disaster.
"Based on information and evidence from the field, it appears that the crash occurred as a result of the extreme weather changes in the area," said Akar at the Eighth Brigade headquarters in Elazığ province.
We will determine the cause of the final crash only after the end of the investigation.
