PI Freising officials had an unusual mission: They were called for help because a swan had hit the wall of a house.
Langenbach
- There was an unusual injured person in Langenbach on Thursday afternoon.
Around 3 p.m. Schwan probably flew too low and hit the wall of a house on Freising Street and fell unconscious to the ground.
As an emergency aid for the apparently injured feathered comrade, residents alerted the police.
"Staggered slightly dazed on the adjacent field"
When the officers arrived, however, writes Freising Vice PI Chief Michael Ertl, "the swan had already regained consciousness and was initially staggered slightly dazed into an adjacent field".
From there, when the swan had recovered, it had flown again.
Ertl concluded, "measures were no longer required by the police side."
