As the new crown pneumonia epidemic continues, Hong Kong has launched a vaccination program.
The government said tonight (5th) that an increase of 10,100 citizens had received the first dose of Coxing vaccine in the past 24 hours as of 8 pm. Among them, one case was sent to hospital after vaccination, an 83-year-old male.
Since February 22, about 72,300 people have been vaccinated with Kexing vaccine.
The "Fubitai" new crown vaccine developed by the mainland Fosun Pharma/German pharmaceutical company BioNTech will be available tomorrow (6th). It is understood that a small number of medical staff are the first to be vaccinated.
Today, an additional 6,000 people made appointments for vaccination online, and a total of about 267,600 people made appointments.

A total of nearly 270,000 people have made appointments for Kexing vaccines
According to statistics, about 10,100 citizens received the first dose of Kexing vaccine in the past 24 hours as of 8 pm today. Among them, about 3,900 people were vaccinated at five community vaccination centers, which is similar to yesterday's number; about 5,600 people received the first dose of Kexing vaccine. The number of private doctors and clinics participating in the plan was 300 fewer than yesterday's number.

83-year-old dizziness and chest discomfort do not need to be hospitalized
The authorities announced that an 83-year-old man felt dizzy and chest discomfort after being vaccinated at the Community Vaccination Center of the Central Library yesterday morning.
He was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital at 9:39 am.
After treatment and observation, the condition is stable and there is no need to go to the doctor.
"Fubitai" new crown vaccine will be available tomorrow (6th).
As of today (5th) at 8 pm in the past 24 hours, about 6,000 people have made appointments online for the first and second doses of Fubitai vaccine.
Since March 3, a total of approximately 110,800 people have made appointments for vaccination with Forbitux.
