Who are the strategic workers?
How does the Government rank them?
Of this universe,
how many received vaccines and what was the criterion applied?
These are just a few questions that the Office of the Attorney for Administrative Investigations (PIA), which is conducting a preliminary investigation into the alleged circuit of privilege vaccines for politicians, leaders, trade unionists and relatives close to power.
The body headed by Sergio Rodriguez asked
all the powers of the State to report if they received any notification from the Casa Rosada
explaining who are considered strategic workers, who were vaccinated within each estate.
The PIA is still waiting for the Government to send it the list of inoculated people and the explanation of what the criteria were used when determining who should receive the Sputnik V vaccine.
The request was sent two weeks ago,
and in the meantime - for order of the prosecutor Rodríguez - the Ministry of Health that Carla Vizzotti now leads, initiated an administrative summary.
The measures were adopted within the framework of a preliminary investigation that, in the future, may lead to a criminal complaint.
In the opinion that began the investigation in the orbit of the PIA, specialized in crimes related to the public administration, the authorities indicated that the facts raised - in addition to the serious irregularities that would have been verified when a
"vaccination VIP "

After receiving a report from the Admission and Early Detection Unit, the prosecutor Rodríguez ordered the opening of a preliminary investigation to "clarify the facts that have been made known in the last hours."
This Thursday the first official letters were sent demanding the sending of information by the Ministry of Health, Cabinet Headquarters and the Posadas Hospital.
In the case, it was pointed out that the circuit that would have been initiated in the order of President Alberto Fernandez so that Ginés González García resigned from his position should be investigated, "while the
versions of the existence of a reserve of vaccines (3,000) to be applied to officials
, relatives of officials, celebrities or prominent personalities from the political, union or public life of the country, thus departing from the Technical Guidelines for the National Vaccination Campaign against COVID-19 ".
It is in this context that the PIA went one step further and now seeks to determine who among the three powers of the State were inoculated.
Along with this, Rodríguez wants details regarding which ones the government understood to be strategic workers.
The Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches must respond to the PIA's official letter, which seeks to establish whether they received any notification from the Government detailing
who is included
among the
essential personnel
, whether they received orders to receive the vaccine, whether they dropped out. protocols in this regard and, finally,
who within each government power were inoculated.
The PIA seeks to clarify who is essential for the Government, if in that categorization
the Casa Rosada prioritized one Power over another
and, in such case, what was the criterion for doing so, judicial sources explained to

The Ministry of Health and the Chief of Cabinet requested an extension to respond to the letters received.
In order to advance the investigation, the PIA does not rule out starting a telephone communication crossing between the Ministry of Health and the Posadas Hospital.
