A secret truck hit a woman in the Shing Mun Tunnel towards Tsuen Wan.
At about 12 noon today (5th), a woman in her 20s was hitting the ground by a truck in the Shing Mun Tunnel towards Tsuen Wan.
The female victim fell into a semi-coma and was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital by ambulance.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
According to sources, the female victim crossed the road from the Shing Mun Tunnel Toll Office. She was suspected of crossing the road to the 11th lane in the direction of Sha Tin. When she ran to the automatic toll lane in the direction of Tsuen Wan, she was knocked down by a truck. The truck was reportedly knocked down. The driver said that he was too late to hit the victim.
Blood-stained gauze was left at the scene.
The police arrived at the scene to investigate.
