In terms of building law, nothing stands in the way of the agricultural service center that has been planned for a long time in Feldkirchen: the Eglingen municipal council unanimously approved the development plan for the statutes.
Egling - "We're a little proud of that, considering the long history of the area," says Mayor Hubert Oberhauser.
"That is very forward-looking and generally acceptable."
Review: In mid-2018 the local council decided to draw up a development plan for Feldkirchen.
During the procedure, 36 authorities and other public bodies had the opportunity to comment.
Six public bodies and one private person took advantage of this option.
According to the submission, clarifications that have yet to be resolved - for example with regard to noise protection - have been incorporated into the statutes.
The community has been dealing with the former drying for many years.
As reported, it was closed in 2014 due to a lack of profitability.
Previously there had been strife because the comrades wanted to switch from liquefied gas to lignite in the production of pellets - much to the displeasure of the citizens who started an initiative against it.
At the end of the discussions, there was a plan to build a modern agricultural service center on the site.
The drying cooperative and the machine ring, previously based in Wolfratshausen and soon in the municipality of Egling, agreed on this.
Shared machines are to be stationed in Feldkirchen.
The administration will find its place in an office building.
In addition, biomass is to be stored there, and a local heating network could also supply the people of Feldkirch.
