- The 7-day incidence in the Freising district has risen significantly in the past few days, and was 88.3 on Friday, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).

At a company in the western district of Freising, a total of 24 employees tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Eleven of them live in the Freising district, and 13 more in other districts.
"In the private environment of the infected, who live in the Freising district, another two positive cases can be epidemiologically assigned to this outbreak," explains authority spokesman Robert Stangl.
In addition, ten people from the district who work for a company at the airport have tested positive.
The health department has issued corresponding quarantine orders.
Compared to the other municipalities, many citizens in Moosburg are currently in quarantine due to a corona infection - currently 62. Here, too, some cases can be assigned to an outbreak.
At a company in Moosburg, seven employees tested positive.
There were six other infected people in the home environment of these cases.
Corona in the Freising district - infections in schools: "Remains current with individual cases"
Stangl: "Corona cases occur every now and then in schools, but currently there are always individual cases and there are no follow-up infections." In the day-care centers, too, positive results appear again and again, here too, individual cases.
Several cases were recorded in only one institution.
The District Office appeals to all citizens to continue to adhere intensively and conscientiously to the hygiene rules - in private as well as in the professional environment.
"In order to enable children and young people to attend school, to be able to open up the retail trade and to have further perspectives for sports, culture or the hospitality industry, among other things, we must all continue to participate and help together," said Stangl.

The British corona variant is also increasingly determining the infection process in the Freising district: According to Stangl, 126 of these mutation cases have already been detected, in one case the South African mutation.
