A 72-year-old man suffered heart palpitations after an injection at Guanyong Stadium on February 27 and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
On February 28, a 39-year-old man felt dizzy and trembling after being vaccinated at the Central Library and was sent to Ruttonjee Hospital.
In terms of the death case, a 63-year-old man received an injection at Kwun Chung Stadium on February 26. He went to the emergency department of Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment in the early morning of the 28th due to breathing difficulties. He died a few hours later.
Kong Fanyi said that the committee agreed that the death of the patient was not directly related to the vaccine.
The preliminary autopsy report showed that the deceased had a very serious coronary heart disease, with three blood vessels occluded, leading to pulmonary edema and respiratory failure.
However, we still have to wait for a comprehensive autopsy report, pathology and chemical report before we can explain the cause of death to the public in detail.
