The police stated that the operation focused on cracking down on illegal parking blackspots in the area. This operation focused on double-row parking, illegal loading and unloading of passengers or goods in restricted areas and bus stops, parking for too long, and illegal entry into yellow bars or crossing roads. Punish and cause obstruction and other illegal acts, and adopt the latest trial electronic fixed penalty notice to enforce the law.
According to the police, the East Kowloon Region will continue to crack down on key traffic violations to ensure smooth roads and protect the safety of road users.
If a driver illegally parks, causing traffic congestion, or posing a danger to other road users, the police will not only ticket the vehicle and prosecute the driver several times, but also may tow the vehicle away.
