The National Bureau for Land Defense and Settlement Resistance of the Palestine Liberation Organization confirmed that the Israeli occupation continues to seize Palestinian lands and forcible displacement in the occupied city of Jerusalem and the northern Jordan Valleys in the West Bank to empty them of the Palestinian presence and implement its plans to Judaize them.

The office stated in its weekly report issued today on its website that the occupation authorities announced a plan to establish 930 new settlement units to expand two settlements on Palestinian lands in the towns of Beit Hanina, Hazmah and Anata, north-east of occupied Jerusalem.

The report pointed out that the occupation forces forced three Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, as part of the implementation of their plan to seize dozens of homes in the Sheikh Jarrah, Batn al-Hawa and Wadi al-Joz neighborhoods in occupied Jerusalem to expand settlement operations, which threatens to displace hundreds of Palestinians.

The report indicated that experts at the United Nations Human Rights Council called on the occupation authorities to stop the demolitions in the village of Hamsa Al-Baqi in the northern Jordan Valley. In that, the humanitarian aid in Homs al-Baqi causes great suffering to 60 Palestinians, including 35 children, while the United Nations Special Rapporteur on adequate housing in Akrishnan Rajagopal stressed that what the occupation authorities are doing is a clear violation of human rights and that the unjust destruction of property and the forced displacement of the affected population Under occupation.

The report pointed out that the occupation, in the context of its plans to Judaize the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron and change its historical and cultural features, announced a plan to seize 300 square meters of the Haram’s area to expand settlement operations.

The report stated that the occupation forces demolished a house in Shuafat camp and two others in Silwan town, several commercial and agricultural establishments in Al-Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem, and three homes and several facilities in Masafer Yatta town in Hebron and seized tens of dunams of Palestinian lands in the village of Birin, south of the city.

The report indicated that settlers continue their attacks on West Bank cities and towns with the protection of the occupation forces, as they attacked the monastery of the Romanian Church in occupied Jerusalem and set fire to its entrance, damaging its main door. They also stormed Palestinian agricultural lands in the village of Deir Nizam northwest of Ramallah and prevented Palestinian farmers from Access to it and destroyed the irrigation networks in the lands of the town of Qaryut and the main water reservoir in the town of Asira al-Qibliya in the city of Nablus. They stormed the towns of Hawara and Jalud, south of the city, and attacked Palestinian homes and properties and demolished an agricultural facility in the town of Kafr al-Dik in Salfit.

The report indicated that settlers stormed the town of Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem and attacked a 17-year-old Palestinian boy, wounding him, while a settler ran over a young man in Qalqilya, wounding him and fractures.
