Adv. Ashraf Khatib (48), director general of the Qalansawa municipality, was shot and seriously injured after being shot at the vehicle in which he was traveling.
The brigade was evacuated by MDA to the hospital. MDA reported: "The wounded man was treated by medics and paramedics and was taken to Beilinson Hospital in critical condition, while being anesthetized and wounded with gunshot wounds."
Police arrived at the scene and opened an investigation.
