The French Kevin Mayer won Sunday in Torun his second title of European champion of the heptathlon at the Euro indoor in Torun.
The world record holder in the decathlon (29 years old), already crowned in Belgrade in 2017, totaled 6,392 points and beat the Spaniard Jorge Urena (6,158 points) and the Pole Pawel Wiesiolek (6,133 points).
It offers a third medal to the Blues in the competition, the second in gold after that won by Wilhem Belocian over 60 m hurdles.
