According to the Green Light Association, since the beginning of the year, four cyclists and electric scooters have been killed in road accidents, two of them in the last two days.

It was also reported that in 2020, 24 cyclists and electric scooters were killed in road accidents, even more than those killed in 2019.

Erez Kita, CEO of the Green Light Association, Erez Kita expressed his deep sorrow and said that "the trend of riders hitting electric vehicles is growing That the state will invest and pave for them riding trails that will separate them from the vehicles and save them from death.

An off-road project that is supposed to produce a network of safe riding trails for riders is stuck, and the Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety is dragging its feet at a time when the trend of casualties and deaths is only growing. "
