In the context of supporting young literary talents, the Palestinian Writers and Journalists Union hosted the Banafsaj Cultural Forum as part of the monthly Generations Meeting, where a group of young writers presented various literary texts.

The meeting, which was held in cooperation with the Cultural Center in the city of Al-Tal, was attended by “Thaer Al-Rifai, Dalaa, Bandar Arnous, Forgiveness Shaker, Hoda Al-Turki, Mai Mustafa, Shahid Bannut Al-Muathbi, Qamar Abbas Elaf Shaker, Ahmed Hassan, Saba Al-Bunni, Maria Habash, Ola Makki, and Shahd Al-Nimr” who read poetry, prose and narrative texts Most of them are distinctive when compared to being high school students.

Abdel Fattah Idris, a member of the General Secretariat of the Palestinian Writers Union, stated that hosting this forum contributes to pushing the cultural process of emerging generations and new talents within the monthly meeting of generations, which represents a cultural and literary cross-fertilization between emerging talents and those whose talents have matured and have established their feet on the literary scene, especially that a number Among the great contemporary writers their start was from the table of the Palestinian Writers Union.

Adiba Al-Saleh, the activities officer at the Cultural Center in Al-Tal, indicated that the idea of ​​the forum came from a group of center-goers who have a passion for reading. She suggested to them to summarize what they read, and then she later sought to establish the forum after I touched their writing talent.

The poet Akram Saleh Al-Hussein explained that the forum includes about 25 young men and women who are friends of the Cultural Center in Al-Tal, and found they had the seeds of literary talent, so he thought it was right to develop them and direct them in the right way, pointing to the importance of these activities in accustoming this generation to stand on the platforms and have self-confidence.

The poet, Khouzama Al-Shalabi, explained that the level of the participants varied between the high level, the middle and the lower, and this is normal for the secondary stage, pointing out that she works to discover real talents in addition to taking everyone's hand and directing them to hone their talents.

The storyteller, Khalifa Ammouri, who moderated the session, described culture as a collective interactive state. Creativity is an individual state coupled with humility that creates youthful energies that match adults' self-belief, the first episodes of creativity.

After the members of the forum read their outputs, a group of poets read various poetic texts, so the poet Ibrahim Lafi gave a weighted text entitled “Ya Dari”, while the poet Rana Mahmoud shared a poetic text that belongs to the prose poem entitled “I will you” and the poet Ayham Al-Houri delivered spoken texts entitled “Oh my country, oh my.” Ritek, in addition to the participation of the poet Khouzama Al-Shalabi, a vertical poem titled “Ya Rahla,” while the poet Joud Al-Dimashqi shared a vertical text entitled Sadness.

Poet Ali Abu Roza Reno recited a vertical poem entitled “Take Me in Your Eyes” and the poet Akram Saleh Al-Hussein concluded the event with a zajal text entitled “My heart is stolen”.
