Munich / Berlin - Emergency brakes are no longer only available in trains or subways.
But also in Corona Germany.
This Covid-19 protective measure should apply from a 7-day incidence of 100. In other words, if there are more than 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.

On March 8th, 62 rural or urban districts in the Federal Republic of Germany will have to adjust to this.
So just on that Monday when the corona rules in Germany are decently (and quite complicated) softened.
Striking: According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), ten of these regions are in Bavaria (around 13.1 million inhabitants) and seven in the neighboring state of Thuringia (around 2.1 million inhabitants).

To put it into perspective: The easing of the coronavirus pandemic in Germany had been recorded by the federal and state governments in a complicated pillar model.
It is also up to the federal states whether they take the incidences as standards nationwide or by district.

Retail reopens with limited entry of customers (under 50) or by appointment (50-100).
Museums, galleries, botanical gardens, zoos and memorials open again entirely (under 50) or by appointment (50-100).
Body-close services may be offered again (in some cases with a daily corona test).
Outdoor sports for five people (50-100) up to a maximum of ten people (under 50) are again allowed.
The emergency brake should always apply for three days - and then checked again for the 7-day incidence.
The corona lockdown in the Federal Republic of Germany was extended to March 28th.
And: In 62 rural and urban districts, nothing will change for the time being.
