Returnable bottle or single-use tetrapak - what is the most ecological packaging?
The times when you fetched milk with your own jug are long gone.
In my childhood I was sent to the neighboring farmer with a tin container like this to have it filled with milk.
Later, already in the big city, a farmer came by once a week, let his loud bell ring and sold eggs as well as milk.
He had it in a small tank and it was also pumped into bottles and cans that he had brought with him.
Of course, it would be even more eco-friendly to have your own cow.
This is not practical for most of us, but you could even eat the packaging if necessary.
