The schedule for the village renewal should now be tightened again in order not to lose promised funding.

The Dietramszell councilors agreed on this.

Dietramszell - Because the municipality has to save, Mayor Josef Hauser had suggested moving some of the planned measures to the year 2024.

A construction break was planned for 2023.

This approach was also approved by the newly established working group on village renewal.

However, the Office for Rural Development (ALE), which is responsible for awarding state subsidies, made it clear on request: The already promised funding is only valid until December 1, 2023. For the last construction phase, which in particular encompasses the town hall and the design of the History path over the Angerwiese, a new application would have to be made.

The amount of funding will then be decided again.

"We will never get 65 percent funding again," feared Thomas Bachmeier (CSU).

The ALE had also made it clear that this would be unlikely in view of the changed financial situation.

Ludwig Gröbmaier (CSU) demanded: “We have to change the schedule or apply for an extension.” The councils largely agreed that the latter had little chance of success.

Because the ALE had already rejected the request for funding until the end of 2025.

After a lengthy discussion, the committee finally approved Michael Häsch's (CSU) application to plan the construction work on Richteranger as early as 2023.

So that no subsidies are lost, the working group on village renewal should once again deal with the fine-tuning.

The current timetable for the village renewal looks like this:

• In 2021, the municipality will not carry out its own construction work due to the difficult budget situation.

The Weilheim State Building Authority wants to build the rain retention basin under the school car park and the new culvert under Tölzer Strasse.

• In 2022 the road construction authority will renovate the town through.

In the course of this, the community wants to renew the cloister forecourt, pave the tavern parking lot and the sidewalks along the street and create the substructure for the history trail.

• In 2023 the area “Am Richteranger” with the town hall wraparound and the completion of the history trail is to follow.
