Regardless of Corona, the opening of the intermunicipal indoor swimming pool has recently been postponed by two and a half months.
There was a fire on the construction site on Adalbert-Stifter-Straße.
During subsequent welding work in the 25-meter pool, the insulation material caught fire.
The affected section of the stainless steel cladding has already been replaced.

The electrical cables are currently being measured to find out whether they were damaged in the accident.
"I don't hope that there will be a nasty surprise," said the responsible town hall employee, Christoph Otawa, recently during a press tour of the new school and sports pool.
Mayor Michael Müller expects the fire to cause damage of 100,000 euros.
"We are in discussion with the insurance company," said the town hall chief.
The construction price for the intermunicipal swimming pool is 17.8 million euros.
Tiling and plumbing work still needs to be done before the opening.
In addition, work is still going on on the photovoltaic system and the outdoor facilities, said Müller.
The water that was left for the leak test in the teaching swimming pool, diving pool and competition pool would meanwhile be ready for the first bathers.
