The epidemic in Hong Kong continues to spread, with 16 new cases today (7th), 5 of which are of unknown origin.
The government has tightened its policy earlier. Whether it is a source or an unsourced case, the building where the patient lives will be subject to mandatory inspection. It is expected that at least seven additional premises will be subject to mandatory inspection today, including Haixing Court, Taikoo Shing and Haifeng Garden, Huajingshan Road, Kwai Chung One, etc.; another two prestigious schools have a pair of student brothers who have been diagnosed with the diagnosis, including the Dormitory Hall of St. Paul’s Co-educational School at McDonald’s Road in Central and Western District and St. Paul’s College in Bonham Road.
There were 13 new local cases today, of which 5 were the source of the infection unknown. As for their work locations, they involve work at Shimen Jingrui Plaza, UNDONE on the 4th floor of No. 2 Carnarvon Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Jiafang Real Estate on the ground floor of Block B of Metro City Building, North Point, and Chek Lap Kok Airport.
Among them, those working on the construction site are responsible for the unmanned vehicle and baggage conveying tunnel project on the airport island (contract number: C3801). More than 30 people were sent for quarantine, and hundreds of people involved in the project were required to undergo mandatory testing.
Brothers from St. Paul’s Co-educational School and St. Paul’s College diagnosed
Earlier, a couple of employees of the Labour Department of the Changsha Bay Government Offices were diagnosed and a pair of their sons were also recruited.
One of the sons was studying in the sixth form of St. Paul’s Co-educational High School. The course was last taught on February 24, but he lived in the dormitory until March 4, so the dormitory hall was included in the compulsory inspection list; Shared facilities such as shower rooms or toilets, kitchens, and teachers and students who have eaten together are listed as close contacts and sent for quarantine.
The other son is a Form 4 student at St. Paul's College in Bonham Road. He tested positive on March 5 and went to school on March 3. Because he went to school during the infectious period, all teachers and students of the school are required to undergo compulsory testing.
The S. 4 student at St. Paul's College in Bonham Road was diagnosed, and the teacher and students were required to take a compulsory test.
