Interior Minister Aryeh Deri's food stamps program has been blamed, claiming that it is a program that has benefited its electorate, or the ultra-Orthodox in general.

But the data that reached Israel Today shows that no less than 1,027,578 Israelis will receive the same coupons this week - a grant from the Ministry of the Interior to the vulnerable populations affected in Corona.

The segmentation of the data shows that 86 percent of the recipients of the digital food stamps of the Ministry of the Interior are residents of authorities where Haredim do not live, but of the general and Arab sectors and only about 14 percent of all recipients of coupons live in Haredi authorities.

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri said: "I am happy that the program they initiated has been implemented and will benefit all the underprivileged families from all sectors - secular, Arab and Bedouin, religious and ultra-Orthodox."

These days, about 300,000 families receive rechargeable food stamps through couriers to their homes.

This is the first of three beats included in the program.

A total of NIS 700 million will be distributed to those eligible.

This amount was allocated to the plan after Deri’s long struggles in government and finance and after dealing with petitions filed against the plan and rejected.

The eligibility criteria for the program can be found on the Ministry of the Interior website.

In principle, it was determined that the food stamps will be received by those who are entitled to a tax deduction of more than 70% and senior citizens who receive an income support benefit, subject to existing data in the collection departments of the local authorities.

However, after many inquiries, the Minister of the Interior decided to allow citizens who meet the income test determined but do not receive a tax rebate, to submit an individual application to the local authority and exercise their eligibility.

The data show that the rate of eligibility by families in the general sector is 52% of the Arab sector. The rate of eligibility is 15% in the Bedouin sector, 4% in the Druze sector, 3% and another 12% in mixed Jewish and Arab authorities.
