Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called on all parties concerned with the nuclear agreement to abide by the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231 in order to revive and preserve the agreement.

Rouhani said during his meeting in Tehran today with Irish Foreign Minister Simon Cowney that the activation of the comprehensive joint action plan for the "nuclear agreement" as an international multilateral agreement depends on the United States lifting sanctions on Iran and that all parties concerned with the nuclear agreement fully implement their obligations towards the agreement, stressing that The failure of the American policy to impose the "illegal embargo and to exert maximum pressure" on the Iranian people, as new Washington officials admit this failure.

He expressed Iran's readiness to cooperate with international organizations to settle crises in the region, stressing that holding talks on the basis of mutual respect, away from the language of threat or exerting pressure, is the best way to address the problems between Iran and Europe.

Rouhani indicated that his country is still determined to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency despite the suspension of the additional protocol.

On the other hand, President Rouhani called for strengthening relations between Tehran and Dublin in all fields, especially economic and commercial, and employing the capabilities available to them.
